Purchased used as 2nd owner in Jan, 106,000 miles. I noticed excessive oil usage. I changed spark plugs, oil and filter, but the same problem and was using synthetic oil as recommended. March 30, I heard a bang while driving, and the oil light came on. I pulled over - there were no oil leaks but oil was very low. It was on full prior to a 40 min drive. Had to have it towed, and per the mechanic the engine is fried! Now I will have to buy a complete new engine after just purchasing the vehicle with what I consider low miles.
