The separate black plastic loading guard on top of rear bumper to hatch unevenly faded & warped slightly & when close to end of warranty asked about it. Had to catch a body shop person onsite (they send out) & took several mos. to actually get answer that it must be cleaning products I use. As I wash vehicle myself & except on few occasions in winter using a coin spray wash it is washed with car wash that's mild enough to be environmentally friendly. Might be from rear window washer fluid but checked all used Compasses/Patriots on lot & 3/4's had some extent of problem.
Based on $300 + cost of replacing, I taped it off & sprayed with truck bed liner - seems to last about 1.5 yrs before needing a recoat.
