My 2007Jjeep Compass horn would only shut off if disabled. The sound was disabled so it continued to draw on the battery...after 5 jumps in 2 weeks the mechanic said it is something other than the battery..it needs a Jeep dealer. I took it where I bought it. After $750.00 of looking for the issue.. the horn switch. There is part to fix it but no one in the Eastern United States has one!!! "On back order 527 orders with no delivery date"
I cannot drive the Jeep with the horn blowing or always being dead. It has been at the dealership for 2 weeks now...
