Had windshield replaced due to a crack.
The auto glass guy called me over to look and the lip was never painted where the windshield sits.
Rust all along the lip, yet all of it under the glass and trim.
a few months later noticed the bubbles showing up past the trim so had to get it repaired.
Not cheap.
I work at a car dealership and wash this all year, and often have it detailed, no other rust on the car.
Was not happy to see rust due to someone not doing their job and Chrysler's response is warranty for rust expired and would not cover as it's not rusted through.
I upgraded my lifetime powertrain to Max care. Baby my Jeep, wash always.
Cracked windshield on the highway, when trim was removed to replace the glass noticed that the paint was never finished under the trim and its rusted badly, almost thru in one are and not covered under warranty unless all the way through. Whomever owns one of these pull the trim back and look at the top of your windshield.
Chrysler will do zero.
