The driver's window would drop down about an inch from the up position. We scheduled the window to be looked at while it was in for recall work.
When we got the vehicle back they told us the recall work was not done as they didn't have the part for the ignition and would call us when it came in (we never received a call) But the regulator was bad a quote of $800 to replace as you must replace the regulators in both windows at the same time. They then told us that the driver side windows were on back order for at least a month but they could get passenger ones and wanted us to do the passenger right away.
I asked if they must be done together how can they be out of one side but not the other. They couldn't answer that. I've waited for the dealer to say they have the part for the recall to get the regulators done at the same time. But they've continued to tell me the part is on back order.
Roughly 6 months later the passenger window now has the same problems. I decided to look online to see if this is a problem that I could fix on my own and found this website and see previous complaints from other Jeep owners
