The 2006 Jeep Commander stalled 3 times in the 10 months of ownership. 2 out of the 3 stallings were on a heavy traffic interstate in atlanta, ga. Events leading up to failure included driving approximately 65 miles an hour, A/C powered on failure, and its consequences resulted in engines turning off completely, and requiring a full restart. Cars going the same speed as myself 65 mph)were swerving to miss me. To correct the failure Jeep gave engine a software upgrade, and stated that should fix the problem. The service manager stated that he would not guarantee the service performed. It was only my life at stake, right?? I filed a formal legal complaint to Chrysler to get out of my lease.
