I've always wanted a Jeep. I bought a used 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4. I got tired of driving little front wheel drive cars in the snow and on ice. Within 2 months of owning the Cherokee, the service shifter indicated lights came on. I was so mad and of course the warranty was no more!
I called the manufacturer instead of the dealership. I was assigned a case manager and I followed all of their requirements as in, taking my vehicle to the dealership to get all the codes. They emailed all the codes back to the manufacturer. Case manager sent all the info to the engineers. I got the green light for all repairs at the manufacturer cost. Even though it was frustrating for such a newer vehicle to already have issues, the manufacturer worked with me and paid for the parts and labor without a warranty. My vehicle has been sound since the replacement of the bezel and wires.
