So I bought my Jeep brand new 14 miles on the car, my 1st brand new car I have ever bought. So I noticed my issue which is that my Jeep pulls to the right over the crown of the road hard and fast. So two days into owning the car I contacted the dealer they said they would have it checked out. I couldn't get it in there for several days but when they did, they said it wasn't the alignment but the front right tire was bad and that I would have to bring it to a Firestone dealer. So I did that.

Get it to Firestone dealer and they tell me the tire is fine, I would take it back and have them look at it. Mind you now this Firestone dealer rotated that front right tire front to back and left to right. Now this "bad tire was on the left when they sent it home" car still pulled to the right. So I bring it back to the dealer and they put it on the rack and yes it needed an alignment. So they realigned the car and sent me on my way. 2 weeks later I notice that my car is pulling hard to the right again, so much that I have to hold the steering wheel tight to keep it from pulling to the point your wrist gets sore. So I bring it back and wouldn't you know needs another alignment.

They put it back on the rack and its back out of alignment so he then thinks his machine might be not working brings it to the Chevy dealer next door and has them put it on their rack to check it, confirmed the same readings as his, out of alignment. Now after telling the guy 4 times I just don't feel comfortable in this vehicle and asking can we do a buy back and having him tell me no, it’s not at the point of a buyback. so now after 3 alignments and 3 tire rotations with no solution, the guys get a list of stuff to start trying from FCA, rotate tires take tires off another similar vehicle and see if it pulls yup they do all that still pulls to the right!

With all that it’s now ok to go ahead and open a "star" case with the FCA. ok so they open this star case, an engineer at FCA stated that I must have been in an accident or hit a curb, so the guys at the shop ask I have not been anywhere to hit a curb I like in the middle of nowhere and I don't even pretend I can park on the side of the street with other cars. So I tell them no, then they come back with do you park in a garage? I said yes, they said well pulling into your garage you can throw out a toe joint? REALLY this all terrain vehicle can’t pull into a garage?? Silly I said I don't pull into my garage doing 90 maybe 1 mph and it’s less than 1/4 of an inch lift.

He says ok and then asks did you buy new tires? I said no why would I buy new tires I just bought this vehicle and am having all these issues I assure you I will not go spend 1000 on tires at this point! They said well then if it pulls so hard sense day one (14 miles) why isn't there significant wear on the tires? I said well sir, how many times in 5,000 miles do you rotate your tires? He said usually non I said ok mine have been rotated 4-5 times already, does that make sense why there is no significant wear, he then agreed? Ok answers that question after all this go around they continue with now changing all the parks in the front end knuckle joints and whatever else is in that area. Well come to find out once getting in there, that the knuckle on the right side wasn't tightened during manufacturing and has been rubbing on the strut this whole time now have 8,000 miles on the Jeep. Ok well we think it’s fixed now! Finally!

I take it home after telling the guy a 5th time ya know I’m just I just don't feel comfortable in this vehicle can we do a buy back now? Just start over I will get another jeep same in every way I just don’t feel comfortable with how many times this has been aligned and all the extra work that has been done on it! Answer is still no, it’s all fixed you won’t have any more issues. So I decided after 6 months of this and 8 reports in hand I am going to ask a lawyer how they feel about my case. They felt I had a case got started on a lemon case. Well 1 week after the issue was “Fixed” my husband is driving down the road and says when are you getting this thing in to get fixed? I looked at him (we work opposite shifts don’t see each other during the week and have a 3 year old better things on my plate to talk about when I do see him) and said I Just had it in this week and it’s all supposed to be fixed? He said it’s still pulling just as hard as it was before ok thank you thought I was crazy!!

So back on the phone I call my lawyer she said takes it to another company in town and have them check the alignment, not fix it just check it! So I did and then she said call up the place where you bought it and tell them about the complaint again. So I call them up and say sorry guys its pulling again (mind you on the freeway it is pulling over the crown of the road to the right lane from left clearly not fixed) so the guy puts it on the rack and says it’s not out that bad I think your so invested in this issue you think its pulling but what your feeling is “NORMAL THAT’S HOW JEEPS DRIVE!

So now Jeeps are made to pull over the crown of the road and from the left lane to the right? Haha no not buying it!!” I then pull out my alignment specks from other place and I said oh this is normal it was out 20 degrees on that front right tire mind you I also didn’t tell this other company any of my issues just told them I wanted to see if it was out! So they bring it now to the Ford dealer ship in town to see if it reads the same, yes read the same as the machine where I had my specks from! So now at this point the dealership where I bought it says well we can get you into a brand new 2018 for the same payments your making now just switch over the paper work. I said great at this point I’m $4000 into my lawyer and if I accepted this offer I would have to pay these fees. I kindly asked well if I drop my lemon law case will you pay the fees sense I asked for a buyback months ago with you promising me the problem was fixed he said well I can’t do that ! Well that’s a no deal Sir.

So 10 reports of pulling to the right later... Long story short 1.5 years after the initial problem I WON and lost my case, the car was repurchased from FCA at what I paid for the car but they didn’t pay my lawyers’ fees but in WI if you lose a lemon law case and have a correct lawyer you can’t be charged for your fees if you lose the case. So I am happy to say I am out of that Nightmare and I will never buy a new car again nor will I ever work with the FCA! They have lost all my trust.

I hope nobody else has to go throw this issues with small children you can’t afford a car to perform this horrible right off the lot brand new! That’s why I bought this car was for a safe vehicle with hopefully no serious issues, that’s why you buy new not someone else’s problem vehicle. I may have miss some points in my story but this gives you an idea of what my Jeep was doing and why I couldn’t wait to put this on here to hopefully save someone from the same issue!
