KL Gear Shift Module
For 2015-2018 KL ONLY, if vehicle DTC Code P1C86-1D (PRNDL Display Current
out of Range) is verified as either stored or active please contact Pablo Flores in
FCA Chassis Engineering at cell (248) 979-7062. If no response in 15 minutes,
proceed with repair. For additional repair see NOTES below:
NOTE 1: If DTC P1C86-1D is still active after inspecting harness connections from
Service Procedure (STEP 2). DO NOT replace SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. Instead,
replace PRNDM bezel only.
NOTE 2: After replacing PRNDL Assembly, clear DTCs and check to confirm DTC
does not return.
Please return parts back to FCA Engineering if PRNDM is deemed non-functional
