- Summary
- Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, the technician may find one or more of the following DTCs: P1186 - Cylinder 1 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range P0128 - Cylinder 2 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range P0101 - Mass Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Performance. P1066 - Cylinder 1 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P1068 - Cylinder 2 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106A - Cylinder 3 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P106C - Cylinder 4 Oil Supply Solenoid Valve Switch Off Time Out Of Range. P0335-00 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P1185 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation. C0501, C0507, C050D, C0513 - Wheel Speed Sensor Rationality Errors. In addition, customers may experience one of the following conditions: Less than desired idle performance. Intermittent elevated engine RPM at start up. Other enhancements included in this update: Min spark changes to prevent catalytic converter overheating. Active grill shutter diagnostics (If equipped). Electronic Start/Stop (ESS) improvements. Upshift quality improvement when engine is cold.
