Drivers side door will not unlock with key fob. Replaced the door actuator at $120 and still won't work. Can someone shed light on this?

Cherokee Trailhawk 3.2L V6

  • 40,000 miles

Driver's side power lock decided to stop working. A part is on backorder, it is only covered under 'warranty' due to the premium maintenance plan the dealer suckered me into purchasing and I still have to pay a deductible. But it's been 3 weeks and no call back to have it repaired, as I'm sure that warranty work is not a priority to dealer as it is not a money maker for the dealership.
