My experience with this Jeep was horrible. It had a little over 600 miles when leaving home for a trip to college orientation for my daughter. It was approximately 262 miles each way. 200+ miles away and the vehicle and steering wheel began to shake upon putting on the brakes. It eventually stopped. Then 65 mile from home on the highway, surrounded by 18-wheelers, service transmission light and check engine light .
My husband slowed down but continued to drive. As soon as we hit our exit, we stopped to pay the toll and when my husband put his foot on the gas petal, the vehicle wouldn't move. Car had to be towed to the dealer. I was sent to pick up a rental car, but up until yesterday, we had not heard anything about what was going on. My husband then called and was told new rotors were put on the vehicle and that they were waiting on a part to come in.The experience was very traumatic for me. At anytime on the highway, the vehicle could have died! My family's life was put in danger and it was a very scary situation If I had my way, I would never drive the vehicle again but because of Pennsylvania lemon laws, I have to deal with it. The experience was very traumatic for me. Very unhappy!
Update from Aug 21, 2015: Received my vehicle back after 3+ weeks. Rotors replaces, Hydraulic port cover gasket replaced, safety recall performed. Still doesn't feel right when driving and hesitates when stopping at stop signs. Still feel completely unsafe. Tomorrow is the day that I take my daughter to school and I'm about to rent a vehicle because I'm afraid to take this one! Still unhappy and not satisfied!
