When being towed the Jeep Cherokee model years (2014-2017) may start to thrash back and forth (the Cherokee Wobble). In our case our motorhome's rear end begins to severely swing back and forth until it comes to a complete stop. Chrysler has issued a recall (S-13) which changes the original owner's manual section about how to set the Cherokee up for being towed. Chrysler wants a part to be installed at the owner's expense (about $350 total for labor and the part) and also keep the vehicle charged (12V) while towing. I bought this Cherokee explicitly to be towed because the drivetrain can be disconnected with a push of one button. Nothing was said at that time about the vehicle having a tracking problem or in the owner's manual about this part having to be installed. Chrysler should fix the Cherokee at their expense to make the vehicle do what it is supposed to do. This is a dangerous situation when it happens and could break the connection between the Cherokee and the motorhome and also cause the motorhome to go out of control.
