"takata recall." Accident occurred on 8/1/2015 as we were heading North on a major highway in tampa, Florida. At a major intersection, a person ran a left turn light as we were entering the intersection. We hit him on the right rear of his vehicle at 45 mph. No airbags in our vehicle deployed.

My son and I were in front and side impact crash with another vehicle on 4/24/17 with significant damage but no airbags deployed in our vehicle. Attached are a few photos of both vehicles for reference. We were driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and were hit by a driver who hydroplaned in a 2011 Hyundai elantra. The reporting officer estimated my speed at impact was 40 mph. Airbags deployed in the other vehicle but not in ours. Considering the damage to the vehicle, force of impact and estimated travel speed at impact, I feel the Jeep airbags failed from a safety standpoint and would like to know how to go about investigating this further with Jeep. An accident report is available but did not upload due to the sensitive information contained within (VIN #'s, names, insurance policy numbers, etc); however, the report can be provided under separate cover if needed.

Bought 2015 Jeep Cherokee brand new off the lot was so excited to own my first Jeep after 600 miles transmission failed and had to be completely replaced I was without it for 23 days. After I got it back and noticed the transmission either lunges forward when making a turn or looses power and reves up then engages took it back and dealer says we are aware of problem but there is not a update or fix for that.... I have never felt more unsafe or unsure about driving or trusting a vehicle than I do now. I have been back to dealer to have many updates/recalls done and tcm had to be replaced not just updated... I wish I never purchased a Jeep. O yeah I almost forgot the washer fluid liquid housing container is leaking took it to the dealer they said it has a crack in it defective so they need to order a new one...... ugghh what next?

Purchased 2015 Cherokee in January, 2015. First recall in Feb 2015. Software update for transmission and rapid response transmittal. Shifting problems started shortly after update. Hesitation from a stop; delayed start and then "takes off"; surging forward without foot on gas; shifts up when coming to a stop with foot on brake; clunking noise started at 7000 miles. Took it in for recalls on airbag and radio security and told dealer about transmission issues. Was originally told they would have Jeep for 2 hours. 7 hours later they called to tell me they did several software updates (ptu, rdm, dtcm, PCM, BCM); when I went to pick it up I asked for details on each update. Frustrated when I was told it would "take some time for the car to learn my driving habits." I asked, "what happens when I am teaching my kids how to drive (twins that will be driving in a month)?" the service tech told me that "the transmission would be really confused." I expressed my concern for safety. Told him I never know when it is going to accelerate on its own or hesitate with a 5 second or longer delay. I asked how that could be safe when teaching kids how to drive. He didn't have an answer. Just said, "I understand your concern." I have only driven it about 20 miles since the updates. Now it shifts quickly through the first 3 gears, still hesitates, and rough shifting. Keeping detailed records now. I've had my Jeep for 7 months (7000 miles) with 3 actual recalls, and 6 software updates that weren't recalls, just performed based on my complaints. The issues with this transmission are a safety hazard, especially when sitting at an intersection waiting to make a left hand turn and never knowing how the Jeep will respond...this isn't safe for an experienced driver. How can anyone safely put a new driver into a car that has these types of issues?

I was driving on highway 18, my speed was around 25-30 mph when all of a sudden I heard a loud explosion noise and all the air bags on the seats and roof had deployed (8 air bags). I and the person with me received bruises a, hurt shoulder and wrist. I took the car back to the dealer so they could fix the issue and they did not want to take responsibility for what had happened. I'm submitting this complain about this car (Chrysler Corp.) and hoping that someone may help me. Thank for your attention.
