Again, when the radio doesn't function, you lose many of the controls that you need to use purchased equipment - Winter package, back up camera, Navigation, etc. Navigation is critical as this is a car I use to do my job which requires a lot of travel.
I bought this vehicle new. I use it for many long distance trips. So many miles but not a long period of time. Not sure why the radio is warrantied by miles.
I replace the original radio in October 2016. I now have to replace that radio for the same issue in April of 2018. So each radio lasted about 18 months. The dealership says there is no know problem. I find that very hard to accept with my current experience.
By the way, when you have your radio replaced, it changes the radio ID, this results in MANY calls to Sirius, etc. to get the accounts updated and things working correctly. I had to keep track of my old and new radio ID to prove this over and over again. Replacing the radio is a major inconvenience since you lose so many functions.
I believe this 2nd radio should also be covered by warranty. The replacement radio should start a new warranty for that part.
Other than this recurring problem, I have really enjoyed the vehicle.
