1st time buying a Jeep, definitely my last. Last month I did the factory recalls/updates so the can't say I wasn't in compliance. My 2014 Cherokee Trail Hawk on the parkway made a loud bang, and went into a dead neutral. I was able to get it to the side of the road. Shut the the truck off, and it was able to get into gear again when I tried. Dashboard looked like a Christmas tree, and the MPH's were gone. A flashing message said TRANSMISSION SERVICE.
I got the truck to the dealer, and dealt with a not so nice service writer. Told me never heard of a problem with a Cherokee before. I won't bore you with the jargon, long story short is they a replacing my transmission with a new one. Jeep wants mine back unopened so they can see what happened. Honestly thinking about trading in my truck to a competitive company and getting out of this problematic truck. Very disappointed to say the least
