CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

I'm surprised that there are not many more complaints about the headlights.
The headlights shine out in a low, flat plane--like a pancake of light, if you will. I didn't really notice this until I was looking for a particular street, in a dark neighborhood. I couldn't read the street lights at all because the lights don't shine that high.
They're weird: The lights shine okay and far onto the road, but it's like absolute darkness above five feet. And the abrupt end to the light is very noticeable while they are shining onto an object such as a building or a hill.
