2014 Jeep Cherokee. Consumer writes in regard to service airbag system warning light coming on; caused by underseats jammed wires. The consumer stated the vehicle needed a new wiring harness. The dealer stated the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was not repaired.
The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The consumer stated it was a wire harness malfuction. The vehicle is effected while in motion, and shifts to neutral state then stops due to loss of power. After car is turned on power is restored with trouble codes appear with no reasoning. The wire harness recall was addressed via reset, but wire harness was not replaced. The vehicle was taken to sherman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (7601 skokie blvd, skokie, il 60077, 866-650-8000) the failure mileage was 45,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. While driving various speeds, the air bag warning error indicator illuminated intermittently. The vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred numerous times. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.

The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the tail lamp needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,382. Updated 11/07/16 the consumer stated the new tail light didn't fix the problem. The light started working again on October 1, 2016. The consuemr opened hatch to place some itmes in the back, and when she shut it, the blinker stopped working again. She opend the hatch agin, and the blinker started working again. Updated 12/13/16.
2014 Jeep Cherokee. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle wobbles while being towed causing steering resistance problems. Vehicle updated owners manual states vehicle should not be towed by motorhome until tow wiring kit is installed.
