The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle functioned abnormally. The vehicle jerked forward, the rpms raced, and the vehicle failed to shift from park into other gears intermittently. The vehicle had to be towed more than once to an independent mechanic. The mechanic replaced the driveshaft under warranty, but the failures recurred. The vehicle was towed to tuttle-click Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (3840 auto center drive, irvine, ca 92618, 949-472-7400). The dealer replaced the wheel speed sensor and the driveshaft again, but the failures recurred shortly afterwards. The vehicle was towed by the contact and rendered unable to be driven. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and offered to trade in the vehicle. The approxiamte failure mileage was 43,989.
