CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

This is the leather dashboard of my 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit. This was the top of line Jeep in 2014 and only it and the Overlands had real leather on the dashboard. The problems is that after about 2 to 3 years the dashboard starts to wrinkle and only gets worse once it does as it eventually becomes completely de-laminated.
I called my dealership about this over a 4 year period and each time they responded that there was nothing that they could do. However, I found out in September that they had finally issued a service warranty extension, I am assume due to the severity of the issue and the multitude of complaints. However, it was only for a very brief period of time from December 2019, to June 2020. Now they will not grant an exemption for me to get it replaced even though they told me for 4 solid years they wouldn't do anything about t, and did NOT notify me in anyway once they decided to issue the extension of the warranty. On top of that, my state as most of the country were in a government mandated shut down for several of those months due to the pandemic.
It is unbelievable to me that Jeep will not grant an exemption due to these factors. Especially, since this was the flagship model of the fleet and their most expensive vehicle. For those of you that are in my situation, I hope you will pursue a class action law suit.
