Notified Dealer when taken in for a recall and they said a software fix. Evidently did not fix the problem. They first said was because the engine needed more power or was reaching heat limit so would turn off the AC compressor. We live in Arizona in the mountains and go to Phoenix quite often. After more investigation, the temperature of the engine never exceeds 208 degrees when this problem occurs. It also occurs when going up hill, under moderate acceleration, and when going down hill when the engine down shifts to reduce speed. You can tell it is the AC compressor as the temperature coming out of the AC vents rises dramatically. The air is always out of the AC vents and not the defroster vents. The Compressor will not come on again until the engine upshifts or until you turn the AC switch off then back on and the compressor will again come on until the scenario happens again.
My opinion of the service dept at the dealer is a joke.
