When driving with the cruise control set at 60 mph and going up a hill the vehicle accelerated without warning. When the driver attempted to disengage the cruise control the vehicle went faster to 80 mph. To stop the vehicle the driver had to put the vehicle into nuetral. No impact reported. Please provided additional information.
