(1.) at 245 miles enginecheck light went on. Dealer replaced #5 spark plug and coil ignition system to correct. Four days later the same light went on. Also at 400 miles, 6/3/2000 estrong smell of gasoline in passenger compartment during cold starts.
While traveling at 40-45 mph vehicle commenced to vibrate/shook, followed by engine check light coming on, and then vehicle lost power. Dealer notified, and had vehicle towed into shop. Informed consumer that the electronic control module had failed and needs replacement. Provide further details.
Engine check engine lite came on at around 600 miles, was knocked off by the service manager. Went on again at 934 miles and spark plugs were replaced. Went on again and was flashing. Service dept. Can not seem to pin point problem. A idle part is being ordered. They seem to think it is idling to slow. I am afraid more problems will be caused by this hit and miss method. Is it a problem to have the lite keep coming on?
