Bought this thing used in the spring and in Canada that translates to still cold, wet and miserable. Since it was cold when I test drove this thing I never checked to see if the A/C actually worked, and that kicked me in the ass a few months later this summer. Most of the month was about 25-30 degrees Celsius temperatures. If I was lucky I would get about 5 minutes of A/C during my 30 min drive to work and school. Recharged a few times until I realized it was just a waste of my time. Would fix but for a student working part time it is too expensive so I decided to just suffer another month of driving and oven on wheels and hope the brutal Canadian winter will cool it down for me.

First off, I bought my jeep when it was only 5 years old, off the bat, the air conditioner constantly needed recharging (once a year). Fine. Then, after a year, the pulley on the system locked up and shredded my belt, therefore wasn't drivable. Replaced the ENTIRE system with brand new parts (condenser, compressor, evaporator, all hoses and tubes) costing around $700, then 13 months later it dies yet again. Recharging it only gets me cold air for 2 minutes then its hot again. This time, the problem is the evaporator (which is the hardest to replace). Since the pulley is fine, I'm not spending the money yet again! so it will remain broken.
