While driving on a highway the posted speed limit, my vehicle started shaking uncontrolably and I had to get off the highway to stop the car so the shaking will stop. I have had a number parts replaced such as the steering stabilizer, and the steering rod.
When we use our turn signals, the emergency flashers come on. The first time we took it in, the dealership found no problem. Then they changed a part which did not solve the problem. They claimed it was an " intermittent" problem and we had no recourse but to bring the vehicle in every time the part malfunctioned. Last night I was driving with three children in my vehicle on a two lane road in a rural area. As I prepared to turn left by turning on my turn signal I noticed a vehicle behind me travelling at about 50 mph. When I slowed to turn, the vehicle passed me on the left. Had I not been aware of this problem, there would have been a terrible accident. Is my Jeep the only one that has this problem. I gave up on trying to have it fixed two years ago because I couldn't take my vehicle in to have it serviced every single day! I have not talked to the manufacturer and I don't know if the dealership did. I would hope that they let Jeep know that there is a problem. My contact at the dealership is named angela. She was sympathetic but did nothing to solve my problem.
