I do not have the money to fix this, and I can't afford to leave my vehical sitting until it gets fixed. I have one vehical in my family to get us all to work and daycare. I thought that it would be a safe vehical, but as you can see. No one is willing to keep me and my family safe.

Brakes disc : brake rotors rusted out well before 3 year, 36,000 warranty, dealer denied coverage. Brake rotors later subject to inspection & replace as needed recall, except owner repairs prior to recall not covered!

This problem seems to be common to this vehicle. I have spoken with other Jeep owners and found that several of their vehicles have the same situation as I have.

1) the driver side door is not closing completely. Upon a visual inspection I noticed that the hinge weld has started to fail. I have not taken any corrective action with this problem. I noticed that there has been an investigation with this same problem. 2) my wife was involved in an accident and the airbag did not deploy. The vehicle that she was driving was hit in the rear by another Jeep Cherokee travelling at approximately 30 mph. The other vehicle Jeep Cherokee involved did not deploy it's airbag either. The damage to our Jeep Cherokee was approx $3,000 to repair. I feel that the damage was sufficient enough to warrant the air bags deployment. If there are any further questions please contact me.
