On 1/14/07, took 6-month-old 2007 Xk to dealer for knocking sound coming from front of vehicle. Found to be "running as intended, " no problem found. Five days later, found car to be completely dead in parking lot after leaving a restaurant. Jaguar roadside assistance jump-started the vehicle the following morning, receiving an 'engine failure' warning message upon start-up. Car was towed in on flatbed. Software update performed by barrett Jaguar service department. Also repairs made as requested due to gas-cap release problems.
