Serious safety issue with the epb electronic parking brake not disengaging (especially in the Xj models), therefore, deeming it impossible to drive the car, and being stranded with no way to drive home or anywhere in an emergency. This issue appears to be electrical in nature, involving the parking brake module. This issue is a published issue in countless Jaguar forums and the NHTSA.
