First let me state I love the way this car (XF handles and performance. I am on my 5th Jaguar (2015 XF) and this is the only one I am having a problem with (only 22,000 miles). The driver and rear doors won't lock and gives the double beep. I noticed the driver side door locks (front and rear) inside handle won't fully retract.
In the Jaguar forum this appears to be a common problem, before I plunge $1,100 plus tax, I have a few questions:
1) Is Jaguar Corp doing anything to resolve this problem
2) I assume there is no recall as I have not been notified.
3) Is the replacement part an improvement to the current part.
