The contact owns a 2011 Jaguar Xf. The contact stated that while shifting into drive from reverse, the brakes failed. The brake pedal traveled to the floorboard and the brake fluid low light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed that a brake caliper needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 33,500.
