The contact owns a 2010 Jaguar Xf. While driving at 70 mph, the engine suddenly shut off. The contact spoke with an authorized dealer who stated that the fuel pump failed, causing the vehicle to run out of fuel. The dealer stated that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were approximately 6,900.
