2003 Jaguar X-type. Consumer writes in regards to a headliner collapse. The consumer stated the glue from the headliner created an unsafe and unhealthy environment. The driver's passengers have shown signs and symptoms ranging from persistent coughing, pneumonia, eye tumors and birth defects.
Plastic adjusters on headlights break when they become brittle leaving the lights aiming at the ground. Headlight bulbs constantly burn out. Amber light with "cruise control not available" has the affect of limiting the RPM to about 2800rpm, past this the engine quits and starts again under 2800rpm. Hold the accelerator down and the engine bucks on and off. This is dangerous as you cannot accelerate when you need to.
