I was traveling sb I25 mile marker 251 ON7/7/17 at 13;20. When a 6ft long tire debre was in the road and got hit by truck and thrown into my radiator and damaged the front end of my vehicle. When I talk to chp he had an earlier report of this yet it was in the road when I entered onto what I believed was a safe highway. I have the required liability insurance, this is not covered. The trucking co says they arent liable so the only other liability is cdot since the road wasn't safe.
Design flaw in inner and outer rocker panels lead to rust through of uni-body. By the time owner sees first indication of rust, uni-body is almost completely gone. Components rust from the inside out. It seems that Jaguar has corrected this design flaw on 07 and newer models. In an accident there would be no strength in uni-body, no energy absorption, and car could literally be "cut in half".
2002 Jaguar X-type. Front inner structure around a pillar and connection to rocker panels is rusting badly at a crucial structure point. Started noticing in 2010, with complete issue this year. Replacement panel has drain built in vs. Original with no way to frain moisture from inner rocker.
