The contact owns a 2008 Jaguar S-type. While driving various speeds, the suspension made a loud clicking and rattling noise coming from both front tires. In addition, the gear box within the vehicle was faulty and the "gear box" warning indicator illuminated and falsely reported that the trunk was open on several occasions. Galpin Jaguar (15500 roscoe blvd, van nuys, California, 91406, (818) 894-3800) replaced the lower and upper control arms in the vehicle in 2009. The contact stated that the failure recurred and that the lower and upper control arms were replaced on several occasions by the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was approximately 9,500. Consumer stated the dealer sold a car that was used as a new car it had only 585 miles. Updated 2/1/19
