The contact stated while driving the windows started going up and down. Also the headlights started flashing. The vehicle surged uncontrollably. He pulled off to the side of the road, turned the vehicle off, and then restarted the vehicle. He drove the vehicle home. The next morning, the vehicle's windows were down. The sun roof was up, and the lights where on. The vehicle has not been to a dealership to determine the problem. Updated 01/19/06.
Consumer states while driving the vehicle at 45 mph it started to accelerate on it's on without the driver been able to brake. Dealer was not notified.
Throttle control sensor malfunctioned, causing vehicle to stall unexpectedly while driving, which may cause a crash. Dealer cannot determine the cause.
Consumer was having problems with the gear shift, put vehicle in park and foot on the brake when it accelerated forwards and backwards at high speeds until coming in contact with another vehicle, during this the roof top opened.
