Engine runs poorly due to large vacuum leak. Stalled many times without warning. Problem component is a deteriorated vacuum hose at the crankcase breather under the intake manifold. It appears that oil, fuel, and heat are affecting the rubber. After repairs motor does not stall but continues to stumble at idle. Dealer unable to repair the problem even though they acknowledged there was something wrong.
Consumer was in a parking garage travelling up a small incline. Consumer's foot was on brake while car was indling. Without warning, engine began to "revv" loudly and car began to move forward. Consumer depressed brakes numerous times, but car continued to move forward, "tapping" the vehicle in front. Consumer placed car in neutral and only then did the "revving" decrease.
When coming to stop or making a turn or when slowing down engine will stall without a prior warning. Consumer states vehicle has been in shop 4 times and after the first 3, the stalling continued, vehicle has not stalled since 4th repair, however stalling is random and consumer can not be sure problem has been fixed.

When driving at any speed vehicle cut off without prior warning, causing loss of all power. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer was unable to determine the cause.
