I own a 2000 Jaguar S-type. Everytime I park on a slope/incline the automaticaly locks up. Meaning when I am ready to leave from parking spot, the shifter will not move from park to drive/reverse/neutral. It locks up. I have to have a tow truck come move it to a flat surface. The car has been to the dealer 3 times, and the have no fix. The jag dealer and Jaguar Corp. Try keep telling me it's not a defect. From asking around I found out this problem is consitent in all the S-type model. So now unless I find a flat surface to park I am in trouble. What is going with this?
