- "SITUATION: A 'KNOCK' / 'CLONK' NOISE MAY BE EVIDENT FROM THE DRIVELINE WHEN: • SHIFTING TRANSMISSION BETWEEN DRIVE (D) AND REVERSE (R) WHEN STATIONARY; • SHIFTING TRANSMISSION BETWEEN DRIVE (D) AND REVERSE (R) AT LOW SPEEDS (PARKING OR LOW-SPEED MANEUVERING); AND/OR • WHEN BRAKING FROM APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH (40 KM/H). CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY THE GEOMETRY OF THE TRANSMISSION OUTPUT FLANGE ALLOWING EXCESSIVE BACKLASH."
