Floor under seat is not insulated and covered only with a flap of carpet that is cut from one side of each seat to the other side and therefore lays loosely over raw metal with numerous holes, allowing heat and fumes to enter driver compartment. Manufacturer and dealer states that this is the way all Trooper S are made.
