had too put 2quarts weekly,and if i traveled at least 50miles i had to put 4quarts in when i reached my destination and then 3-4 quarts more when i would return home,a real pain in the assssssss.....when i recognized the oil was leaking some place and i don't know where because it wasn't on the ground then i did a research on the trooper and found out this is a common problem with the trooper....took a shop and was told that the engine needed to be replaced ...not at my cost gave it right back to the previous owner ....oh and the oil light only came on once that's how i knew it was losing oil and this happened the 1st week i got it after that it never came on and i had to check it every other day not lady like at all....
