The vehicle was taken off road by GM Dealer almost 3 wks ago. Have had no satisfaction as yet, need vehicle for work. Could have killed myself as well as others. Maybe that would have gotten their attention sooner. Is there any lawsuits against GM for this recall problem?

The entire under carriage was rusted even though salt was removed/washed every two weeks throughout the winter. I was driving 65 miles per hour, thank God my daughter wasn't in the car, when I began to lose control of the vehicle. I slowly drove it to my mechanic who showed me the extent of the rust. I'm in the process of selling it for next to nothing and leased a vehicle since I needed one right away. The suspension was separated from the vehicle and body has no rust.

As I was driving down the road at about 30 miles an hour, the rear of my car was swerving all over the road. I almost lost control. I pulled over and I look under my car and noticed it had rotted right through! So far Isuzu hasn't responded.

Does anyone have any idea what can be done because it's too expensive to fix and the car is only 8 years old!

Is there any clas action suits going on because I want to add my name!

Frame Rust Frame Rot.... This is to make any Isuzu Rodeo owners aware of the corrosion on the frame of your car.

I have a complaint filed with NHTSA. And so should anyone else, so that we can get these cars off the road before anyone has loss of life or limb. Frame Rust Frame Rot.... Wheel stabilizer rusted off while driving....with no warning...Fortunate I was only traveling 20mph. Had car towed only to find out that the frame is like swiss cheese. Had a welder look at it ..FIRST...he had not seen this type of thing and SECOND he didn't recommend repairing due to the extent of rust going throughout the frame. The body has no rust. The rest of the car is very clean and ready to live several more years. Unfortunately I have decided it is not safe to repair, and now have to get a replacement vehicle.

Further investigation the Honda Passport suffers from the same complaint. As I stated earlier I filed with the NHTSA and they have responded ...they have an open investigation into the problem. I Urge everyone who has or has has this problem to file before someone is seriously injured. I have had several mechanics inform me that if I had been traveling at a higher speed / on a highway things would have been much different.
