The center rear seat belt, which is where my toddler son's carseat is, broke into pieces during a routine move of the carseat. The seat belt latch was not subject to any undue force or pressure at the time of it's breaking. When I contacted the dealership I was told that the seatbelts are only warrantied for 3 years or 50,000 miles. My car is a 1999 but has 85,000 miles. I am very distressed to know that the not only are the seatbelts not covered under warrantly but that noone seems to find anything wrong with it.
