Vehicle has many problems from start, car shimmy's with no available fix, rear brakes make noise, bumper paint is very cheap, steering wheel makes rubbing noise when turned, rear cup-holder doesn't stay shut. Takes too long to start vehicle.

On 2/5/99 I was traveling on interstate 85 in richmond when I tried to move my steering wheel, and the wheel would not move. We were heading toward a railing and I tried to use the brake to stop the car, and the brake pedal was on the floor and the car still would not stop. My son and I were almost killed because of the steering wheel locking and the brakes not working at all!

While driving at 60 mph, steering wheel locked, and ABS brakes did not work at all. Frontal impact into railing, and airbags did not deploy. Dealer contacted and was not aware of the problem. Cannot remedy the vehicle. Problem still exists. Provide further information.
