Warranty expired two months ago, however the car has not been driven for last 8 months due to COVID. I started driving the car in July 2021 and noticed the car feels like it is going over bumps even though there were none. I came to learn this was called transmission juddering. I took it to Infiniti dealership (Infiniti of Gwinnett in Duluth, GA) to complain about the issue and after paying $170 for diagnosis fee, I was told that transmission has recorded code P17F1 and the CVT transmission require replacement. They also gave me bad news that the warranty expired on June 30, 2021. The car is under 58K mileage and with dying transmission. 2013 and 2014 had the same issue and Nissan issues warranty extension and replacing transmissions. However this was not extended to 2015 which has the same transmission. I called Infiniti Consumer services and they just told me that 5 year warranty expired and they will not do anything about it. This is very unprofessional from Nissan manufacturer side considering that this was known issue for 2014 year model which is exactly same as 2013 and 2014.
