So my wife drive the SUV to work and she stated that it was not shifting right. When she got to work she said it wouldn't go i reverse, which I thought was strange since I just drive it the day before. I looked where I parked the truck the night before and noticed a bunch of fluid on the ground, and of course it was fresh. I then thought the transmission has dumped all the fluid. Little did I know, you can add fluid to the QX56 you have to take it in. $150 tow later to the dealership they told me a transmission line to the radiator was leaking. I thought maybe I hit something but he said it wore out. I have had a lot of cars and some pieces of sh*t and never has this happened. I also had a service engine light along with some codes for gears 4 and 7. So they were able to replace the line and I needed a new transmission, and the cost was $7,000! Luckily, I had a warranty that covered me and I had to pay a $500 deductible. Don't think I will keep this truck long I already had to replace both front calipers and this thing drinks gas like a drunk at an all you can drink bar.
