Suckered into this on purchase; I was not told of it because "it's not a safety issue," and I missed it on test drive (didn't try to figure out how to use it - there're too many buttons and things to push to get to them all).

I was told this is very common problem, and very expensive to fix. I don't really like the Adaptive CC anyway, but I do need some kind of cruise control - we bought this for long trips hauling a travel trailer.
