Sunroof tubes cause water leakage into interior. After heavy rains the front floorboards and mats would become extremely saturated with water, would stain, puddle, and mildew. Control buttons on driver door side panel also quit working.
After research I found there were a few cars on the market with manufacturer defect notices and recalls acknowledging sunroof drainage problems would cause water leakage into car interior floors including JEEP commander and Honda Accord models. Infiniti never acknowledged this as a defect and as a result I had mildewed, stained, saturated carpet after 1 week.
This defect should be repaired free of charge by the manufacturer as no fault lies with the owner and most known incidences of this problem only occur on defective vehicles or Older model vehicles.
