This is my wife's vehicle. It is loaded, 20 inch wheels, navigation, the works! It's meticulously maintained, and garage kept. Beautiful outside and in, no kids, non-smoker, leather still looks and smells new. I was detailing it a little while back and as I was wiping the dash, I noticed a hairline crack on the passenger side section above the glove box. It's a graphite color, so it was not easily seen initially, but now that I know it's there, it's ticking me off! I mean, you could eat off the vehicle's engine, it's so clean.
The vehicle runs like a dream, but this is terrible. Come on, Infiniti, as much as we pay for these vehicles, and the dash cracks on a car that's garage kept! If it's ever outside, it has a silver sunshade in the windshield. No excuse for this happening! Killer is, we had a 2006 FX35 prior to this one. Cherry condition, except for the dash bubbles. I heard Infiniti would warranty that one, so I went to the dealer to check only to find out I missed the cut off by 3 months... I guess I'll try the dealer again to check on a possible warranty, but won't hold my breath... I love Infiniti vehicles, but you've got to do better!
Update from Jan 9, 2022: I've reached out to Infiniti Consumer Affairs, but they have told me since the vehicle is past the 4 year, 60,000 mile warranty, there's nothing they can do. I sent them pictures showing how clean the vehicle is, but it didn't matter. I will write to the CEO of Infiniti to see what response I receive. This should not happen...
