My wife was on her way to work and coming up to a stop sign, but she had no brakes, ,,she went straight threw 108 highway lucky no cars.,,, so I looked into it and I see there is a bad design made, ,,the pad should over lap the edge of rotor or be even with the rotor, ,,,it leaves a 1/8 inch lip on rotor outer edge and so the metal on the pad grabs top and bottom and no pad touches metal, ,,,,,this car is a 2005 Hyundai XG350 4 door I left the rotors front left and right not turned or shaved just so you can see it for your self I worked in a auto shop for two years never seen this type of wear, ,,,,
