The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai XG350. While exiting a parking space, the vehicle accelerated independently. The contact depressed the brake pedal various times, but the vehicle failed to stop until the ignition key was turned to the off position. The vehicle could be restarted, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and an independent mechanic where the failure was unable to be replicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000.
The rear defogger grid keeps breaking. When you turn on the defogger it cases interference in the radio since the grid and antenna are both embedded in the read windshield.
2004 Hyundai xg350L has had intermittent air bag light come on dash during warranty period. All repairs under warranty as simple fix of loose connections. Within six months of out of warranty period air bag light on again and taken to Hyundai dealership who now states that this repair is out of warranty and will cost over one thousand dollars. In the interm the supplementary restraint system will not work.
The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai XG350. She stated that the exterior and interior lights would constantly fail. The light bulbs were replaced several times by the dealer but remained an incessant problem. There were no prior warnings. The current and failure mileages were 19,653. Updated 4/26/10 the brake lights, fog lights and reverse lights failed several times. Updated 06/11/10.
Have a 2004 xg350L vehicle, strange odor when heated seat buttons engaged, also, terrible radio static occurs when rear window defrost/heat button engaged.
